Football is a sport of contact, players will always tackle each other every now and then and sometimes the tackles will be dangerous which is why others find themselves injured and spend months on the sidelines getting rehabilitated, the sad thing about it is that some of the players get carried away and be emotion when they are down in terms of score line and when they see their opponents in possession of the ball, the only thing that comes to their mind is to take that player out whether legally or illegally.
They don't care and that may have been the case on Saturday when former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Layle Lakay dangerously took out Kaizer Chiefs' youngster Mfundo Vilakazi at the Peter Mokaba Stadium and that did not sit well with the left-footed dribbling wizard who reacted in a rather unprofessional way and was caught on camera showing his opponent a middle finger.

Vilakazi needs to learn to keep his emotions, he should control his temper despite what may have happened to him, this is a men's game and he must know that he will be tackled even harder than what Lakay did, he can't go insulting opponents the way he did, however, it was nice to Lakay apologising to they young man after the game showing it was nothing personal, he should get a bit of a punishment for that reaction, whether from the league or his team, he just has tk be punished.
