New Signing Hopeful Despite Slow Start at Sundowns, Eyes Big Impact

Kobamelo Kodisang has expressed his admiration for Mamelodi Sundowns, despite a modest start following his high-profile transfer from Portuguese side Moreirense earlier this year.

The 25-year-old winger has featured in just four matches across all competitions as he adjusts to the demands of South African and continental football after spending five years playing abroad.

Kodisang, however, remains upbeat and has praised the professionalism and support system at Sundowns. “The training grounds, the staff, the support structure—it’s all designed to help players succeed,” he said, emphasizing the positive environment at the Chloorkop-based club.

With Sundowns aiming for an unprecedented eighth consecutive league title and success in CAF competitions, Kodisang is eager to establish himself within the squad.

“I’m focused on working hard, learning from my teammates, and contributing to the club’s success,” he stated. “Winning an eighth consecutive league title would be a historic achievement. I’m also excited about making a mark in CAF competitions and other domestic tournaments.”

While Kodisang’s adaptation to his new environment may take time, his dedication and positive outlook suggest he could soon become a key player for Sundowns as they chase silverware on multiple fronts.
