The upcoming PSL transfer window is weeks away.

January will be the last chance teams have to alter their roster before the season concludes – an array of top talent is expected to move.

Rumours:

  • Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are after PSL superstar Oswin Appollis, who looks likely to be joining the men in black.
  • Muzomuhle Khanyi has already bagged eleven goals for the Hungry Lions this season, sparking interest from various PSL clubs, including Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United – the Buccaneers are reportedly winning the race.
  • Golden Arrows striker Lungelo Nguse is another attacking option the Sea Robbers are approaching. It remains unclear whether they’re choosing between Nguse and Khanyi or if they want them both.
  • Kaizer Chiefs target Feisel Salum is expected to sign a contract extension with Azam FC, blocking a deal from happening.
  • One of PSL’s rising stars, Mohau Nkota, has Belgian side Standard Liege monitoring his performances. It’s almost definite that the 20-year-old will remain a Pirates player until the season concludes.

Khanyi has been a constant threat in the Motsepe Foundation Championship, scoring an audacious hattrick three days ago to lead his side to a 3-2 victory.

“Interest is growing for Muzomuhle Khanyi’s services”, a Siya source confirmed.

“An offer could be made for him in January. The player’s impressive performances and work-rate have caught the attention of a number of clubs, and I can confirm that Orlando Pirates are leading the race,” they added.

“Sekhukhune United are still also interested in the player, as well as several other clubs. He is the top goalscorer in the Motsepe Foundation Championship with eleven goals in the 2024/25 season.
